Everyone Is Welcome

At Midhammer WarGaming, we believe everyone should be able to enjoy their hobbies, however they see fit. From mini painting to collecting, players to lore keepers and everything else, everyone deserves a positive and enjoyable experience. We want to foster that to the best of our ability, so please do give us any and all feedback. We welcome your thoughts and suggestions because they help us to make this a space that the entire community can enjoy.

Our Rules

From new blood to old guard, we want everyone to have a fantastic experience here at Midhammer. To that end, we've crafted a series of rules which we expect all members to follow.

Everyone Deserves Respect

You must treat EVERYONE involved at Midhammer with respect at all times. Admins, members, staff or wandering lookyloos, it doesn't matter. Be respectful!

Gracious In Victory, Gracious In Defeat

As passionate as we all are about our hobbies, remember it is JUST a game. Games are supposed to be fun, so win, lose or draw always be courteous and remember rule one.

Friendly MEANS Friendly

We will mostly be hosting relaxed, casual games. We know some will be looking for a more competitive experience and we aim to cater to that, but generally speaking we want friendly games. Friendly means remembering rules one and two.

No Cheating

Cheating is entirely unacceptable and those who are caught doing so will be banned from future events. That being said, we do understand that many of the games we play involve complex rules and mathematics and mistakes can happen, so we understand there may be the odd dispute to be investigated and corrected promptly.

Handle With Care

All club resources, whether games, tables, models, terrain or any other equipment, is to be treated with respect. We are sure you appreciate the time, effort and expense that goes into maintaining these resources and they are provided for the enjoyment of all members, so please handle them carefully.

A Helping Hand

Wherever possible, help your fellow members. Maybe you're an expert on a particular game, but not everyone else will be. Perhaps you've some tips and tricks to share on model building and painting. We want to see this group flourish and grow and if we all help each other, it will do just that.

Stay Calm

Aggressive, abusive or violent behaviour, hate speech, bigotry or intolerance will not be tolerated in any way. It's all too easy to get a little hot under the collar and say something you don't mean. Keep it calm, remember the rules and let's all have fun. Anyone found to be failing to adhere to the above will be spoken to by a Club Admin, and may be removed or banned from future club activities
